SUMMARY:
Hard working people who are facing tough realities of a bad economy, Joe Wilson is against you. Families who work day to day and just want to keep their children healthy, Joe Wilson is against you.Companies who profit off you and your children’s illnesses have Joe Wilson’s support.
This is a representative who yells “You lie” over a fact that anyone who cares one iota about the health care bill knows already. Did he not read the bill? Or is he so ready to protect big insurance companies and keep health care costs high that he’ll sacrifice his and his state’s reputation?
Where’s he getting his money anyway?

What about illegal aliens from outer space?

Joe Wilson from South Carolina, is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game.

In 2006, SC was the 48th healthiest state in the nation.
http://www.sph.sc.edu/news/scranking.htm
U of S. Carolina reported these factors leading to the low 2006 rank:
Low high school graduation rate: 59.7 percent of incoming ninth graders graduate within four years, rank 50;
High violent crime rate: 761 offenses per 100,000 population, rank 50.
High prevalence of obesity: 29.1 percent of population, rank 47.
High infant mortality rate: 8.7 deaths per 1,000 live births, rank 46.
High incidence of motor vehicle deaths: 2.2 per 100,000,000 miles driven, rank 47.
The National Center for Health Statistics, available through the CDC states that in 2009 SC has elevated rates in cancer, heart disease, stroke, respiratory illness, kidney disease, diabetes, and infant mortality rate.
SC also had in 2004-5 data, 19.8% of its population under 65 without health insurance.

Is Rep. Joe Wilson doing anything to correct these issues? What is he doing to fight for the best life for all South Carolinians?
Or are his actions supporting a culture of disease and illness? Are the policies he supports better for big business or working families?
There is a moral and ethical standard that we must hold our leaders to. Whatever political party a person identifies with, we must agree that South Carolina deserves better than Joe Wilson.

Joe Wilson was and, until he fesses up to his confusion, still is wrong about undocumented immigrants being helped by the Health Care bill.
http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2009/09/illegal_immigrants_left_out_of.html
But…we will have to ask ourselves what kind of ethical responsibility do we as a nation owe to the people within our borders?
If an undocumented mother of two comes into a hospital after breaking a hand while farming produce that documented residents will eat what is to happen? Denied treatment? Sent home?
Joe Wilson is in favor of creating a wall between the US and Mexico and supports vigilantes. Have walls ever proven to work? (Maginot, Berlin, Israel, Australia’s ‘rabbit proof fence’…)
It seems that Wilson’s policies are short-sighted, reactionary, filled with myth and misinformation, and unfortunately a feeling of misanthropy.
